Annandale Village is an award-winning nonprofit organization dedicated solely to providing progressive life assistance to adults with intellectual disabilities and traumatic brain injuries so that they can maximize their abilities and maintain their independence in the least restrictive environment.

Criteria for Admissions

All applicants who meet specific admissions criteria of Annandale at Suwanee, Inc. will be considered for admission.

No person will be subjected to discrimination based on race, religion, national origin, age, gender, social status, payer source, or disability.  Annandale Village is operated in accordance with current federal, state and local laws governing discrimination.

CRITERIA FOR ADMISSION TO ANNANDALE VILLAGE

  • The individual is age 18 or older
  • Primary diagnosis is one of the following:
    • Autism
    • Cerebral Palsy
    • Down Syndrome
    • Fragile X Syndrome
    • Prader-Willi
    • Intellectual Disability/MR
    • Williams Syndrome
    • Traumatic Brain Injury
  • The individual is ambulatory
  • The individual possesses basic self-help skills
  • The individual is not severely violent to themselves or others
  • The individual is not dependent on any illegal drugs or alcohol


EXCLUSIONARY CRITERIA

  • History of physical aggression
  • History of  self-harm
  • Previously or currently incarcerated
  • Received in patient treatment for psychiatric services within the last year
  • History of fire setting
  • Suicidal or homicidal
  • Sex Offender
