Annandale Village offers a comprehensive range of residential and non-residential programs to help men and women with developmental disabilities lead lives that reflect quality, value, self-worth, and achievement.

Our focus on individual development and personal care includes: Residential services, individualized service plans, on-campus health services, nutritionally balanced meals, individualized case management, counseling services, occupational therapy, vocational training and job placement, community inclusion activities, creative and performing arts, and recreational wellness activities.

Characteristically, individuals served at Annandale Village are 18 years of age or older with a primary diagnosis of an intellectual disability, Down syndrome, autism, cerebral palsy, other developmental disability, or have experienced a traumatic brain injury.

[+] How does someone become a resident of Annandale Village?

Before the admission process begins, we welcome visitors and encourage potential applicants and their families to visit Annandale Village for a tour, which are available to the general public each weekday from 10:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. To schedule a tour, please call our Director of Admissions, Tammy Severino at (770) 945-8381 or via email at tammy.severino@annandale.org.

The next step in the admission process is to complete the Admission Application, which can be mailed, e-mailed, or delivered at the time of the scheduled tour.  Once an application is completed, the application is reviewed by members of our health services, social services, and senior administrative staff.  At the time, the team works to determine admission status and a recommendation for level of care. An application review takes approximately one week once all required documents and application are received.

The professional staff at Annandale Village takes very seriously the responsibility placed upon us when a family entrusts us with a loved one’s care. Our aim is to make the admissions process as quick and easy as possible, and to provide support and help whenever needed.

[+] What are the fees associated with the services Annandale provides?

Cost for each resident is determined by the level of care and staff supervision that the resident requires. A preliminary assessment of the needs of your family member must be made before cost can be discussed. Fees are all inclusive, with the exception of medical insurance, personal items, and a few special activities and services.

[+] What would exclude someone from being able to be served at Annandale Village?

Unfortunately, Annandale Village is unable to serve individuals for the following exclusionary reasons:

  • History of physical aggression
  • History of  self-harm
  • Previously or currently incarcerated
  • Received in patient treatment for psychiatric services within the last year
  • History of fire setting
  • Suicidal or homicidal
  • Sex Offender 

[+] Is Annandale Village financially stable?

Yes.  Annandale Village is financially stable and will remain so over the long term. The Annandale Foundation and Endowment Fund, which continues to grow thanks to the support of many generous corporate, foundation and individual donors, ensures the ongoing security and care of our residents.

[+] Can I make a donation in honor or memory of someone?

Yes. You may make a gift in honor or in memory online or by completing the downloadable contribution form (PDF) .  For more information about this process, please visit our Honor and Memory Gifts page. Annandale Village will mail an acknowledgment card to your designated recipient or recipients, informing them of your donation (the amount of the gift is not included). You will receive a gift receipt for income tax purposes.

Although donating online is a fast and secure way to make a gift, there are several alternatives available. You can print out the Downloadable Contribution Form (PDF), fill out all information, and mail or fax it to us at (770) 945-8693. [+] Are contributions to Annandale Village tax-deductible?

Yes.  Annandale Village is a 501(c)3 nonprofit, tax-exempt organization designated by the Internal Revenue Code. Our tax ID number is 58-6081470.  All contributions are tax-deductible under the full extent of the law.

[+] Does Annandale Village issue tax receipts once a contribution is received?

Yes. When you contribute over $5 to Annandale Village, you will receive a charitable tax receipt for income tax purposes. Our tax ID number is 58-6081470. For all other donations, your canceled check or credit card statement can serve as record of your donation.

You can expect your receipt for your donation within one week from the date you send it in. If you make your gift online, your receipt will be emailed to you. 

If you are making a recurring donation through your credit card, your contribution will be charged automatically on the day and the frequency you have selected. You will receive an annual statement summarizing your gifts to Annandale (either electronic or hard copy), and your credit card statements serve as additional record of your contribution.
