Laura Gourley is the Chief Financial Officer at Annandale Village. She is responsible for all aspects of Annandale’s financial operations including budgeting, financial forecasts and cash management as well as overseeing the day to day accounting activities. She also oversees the activities of Human Resources and Information Technology.
Earlier in her career, Laura served as an auditor of nonprofit organizations for Jackson Thornton, a regional certified public accounting firm based out of Montgomery, Alabama. After twelve years in public accounting, Laura accepted a position as the Associate Executive Director of Finance for United Cerebral Palsy of Georgia and moved to the Atlanta area. Through her position at United Cerebral Palsy, Laura assisted multiple organizations devoted to serving adults with intellectual disabilities with their accounting functions including Hi-Hope Service Center and the Service Providers Association for Developmental Disabilities (SPADD). Through United Cerebral Palsy, she also served as Annandale’s interim Chief Financial Officer. After a few months, Laura joined the Annandale team.
Laura holds a BA in both Accounting and Finance from Auburn University Montgomery and is a Certified Public Accountant.
