Annandale Village is an award-winning nonprofit organization dedicated solely to providing progressive life assistance to adults with intellectual disabilities and traumatic brain injuries so that they can maximize their abilities and maintain their independence in the least restrictive environment.

Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteers play an important role in the success of Annandale Village.  Each year, we are privileged to have a committed core of volunteers who share their time, talents, and energy through a broad spectrum of volunteer opportunities and activities.

Volunteer Opportunities at Annandale VillageThroughout the year, volunteers play an active and leading role in working to support the programmatic priorities of the organization. As a result of the comprehensive array of volunteer opportunities available, Annandale Village is able to tailor one’s volunteer experience that best fits his or her availability, skills and desires.

We are rooted in the belief that every individual has the power to make a difference. We believe that engaged citizens are the cornerstone of a vibrant democracy, and that effective volunteer action is a path to broader civic involvement.  Volunteers can choose projects based on their available time and interests – from a one-time campus improvement project to an ongoing commitment to support our creative and performing arts program, coach the Annandale athletic teams, or offer administrative office support.
