CNA/CMA Job Description

Annandale Village located in Suwanee is an award-winning nonprofit organization dedicated solely to providing progressive life assistance to adults with intellectual disabilities and traumatic brain injuries so that they can maximize their abilities and maintain their independence in the least restrictive environment. Annandale Village will be opening a new 16 bed continued care facility and needs CNA’s (required)/CMA (Certified Medication Aide) (preferred). P/T & PRN positions are available. The starting pay rate for CNA’s is $9.65 per hour and the starting pay rate for CMA’s is $9.90 per hour.

The CNA/CMA will perform non-professional direct care duties which include ADLs and medication assistance under the direction and supervision of the Administrator and/or Director of Health Services.   The CNA/CMA will assist in maintaining a positive physical, social and psychological environment for the residents. The CNA will be required to obtain CMA certification within 90 days of hire. CMA training will be available through Annandale Village.

Must be at least 21 years of age, have a valid Class C Georgia Driver’s License, proof of vehicle insurance, and meet company policy regarding MVR requirements. Must meet state requirements regarding a Georgia, National, and FBI criminal history record check which requires fingerprinting. Must undergo and pass a drug screening, and screening for Tuberculosis and Hepatitis B. Must have current CPR/First Aid certification in accordance with state regulations within 60 days of hire.
