Don Britt was born in Lawrenceville, Georgia and is a graduate of both South Gwinnett High School and Furman University. As an avid golfer and lover of all sports, his career as Vice President of Summit Chase Country Club for the past 28 years has been a passion of his.
Don’s family is his number one priority and with a tearful eye, he is excited to see his two children, Mackenzie (20) and Grayson (18) thrive as they enter adulthood. Don describes himself as someone who is highly competitive, likes to be in the middle of the action, and as someone who loves people.
Having grown up and worked in Gwinnett County, he has witnessed all of the changes and challenges our county has had over the years. The community in which Don lives and works is very important to him, and he strives to do his part to make it a great place to live now and an even better place for future generations. As such, his community involvement includes being a former President of the Gwinnett Sunrise Rotary, a graduate of Leadership Gwinnett class of 2003, an active retreat committee member for Leadership Gwinnett since 2004, and has been the President of the Snellville Tourism and Trade for the past 7 years.
