CANDIDATE BIO

Lisa Zaken has over 25 years experience in the areas of membership, marketing, event planning and public relations that zero in on membership based organizations. She spent a good deal of her professional career in Technology Park in Norcross working for an international industrial engineering association, then directed the membership activities at the Gwinnett Chamber and The 1818 Club before taking over as Executive Director of Leadership Gwinnett in July 2011.  Lisa and her husband Tom have been residents of Gwinnett since 1980 and enjoy time at their mountain cabin in Blue Ridge as well as spending as much time as possible with their two grandkids, Mitchel 5 and Leah 2.

I’m participating in this event not only to support Annandale to ensure the ongoing security and care of the residents, but also to stand beside my eight fellow Leadership Gwinnett alums who serve on the Board of Trustees or are part of the Executive Staff.  Thank you Leadership Gwinnett Alumni for making a difference in the lives of adults with developmental disabilities and traumatic brain injuries. I’m  honored to be part of the campaign, even if it means kissing  a pig!
