Nancy Trujillo became part of the Annandale family in 2006 as the Development Director.   She managed the fundraising and event planning including four years organizing Annandale’s signature event, Jazzy. In 2011 she transitioned to the operations side of the organization as the Chief Operating Officer. Nancy oversees the departments that provide programs and services for the Villagers. These include the residential program, Medicaid Waiver Day program, Program Center, Assessments and Curriculum, Activities and Social Services.

Nancy came to Annandale with experience in non-profit management, fundraising, governmental affairs, as well as sales and marketing experience in the private sector. A management professional with more than 28 years of building and strengthening organizations and communities, Nancy has been recognized by local, state and federal agencies and officials, including the Points of Light organization for her efforts to help others.

Coming to Annandale has allowed Nancy to find her niche. Even after many wonderful life experiences as a dental hygienist, Executive Director for an economic development authority and a Chamber of Commerce, marketing for a for-profit company with 11 hotels, 3 casinos, in three states and an airline, nothing compares to the feeling of making a difference to so many people when she drives through the Annandale arch.

A graduate of Brenau University, Nancy received a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Resources Management, however, she considers the experience gained through the many opportunities that life has presented to her to be her greatest asset. Embracing each opportunity with a positive attitude and compassion allows her to guide her staff in providing the best possible support and care for the Villagers at Annandale.

Nancy was born in Atlanta and has lived in Georgia for most of her life. She raised her family of two daughters in Elko, Nevada before returning to Winder twelve years ago. She is the proud grandmother of four. Nancy currently lives in her family home with her husband, five dogs, three cats, and two Russian tortoise. Nancy is an alumnus of Leadership Gwinnett, the Gwinnett Neighborhood Leadership Institute, the Gwinnett Citizens Fire Academy, and the Suwanee Citizens Police Academy.
