Do you or someone you know own a Mustang? If so, we would like to invite you to participate in the Inaugural, Run For The Gold Pony Drive benefiting Annandale Village. This event, hosted by Running Pony Events and The Gwinnett Mustang Association, will be held Saturday, September 12, 2015. Check In/Registration will be from 8AM-10AM at Coal Mountain Elementary School. Upon departure, the Mustangs will drive through three counties (Forsyth, Dawson & Lumpkin). The majority of the drive is on Highway 9. There are a few turns to make and once we get closer to Dahlonega, the road has over 40 twists and curves with speed limits at 25-35 mph.
The Pony Drive is limited to 300 Mustangs, so pre-registration is highly recommended. Pre-registration cutoff is September 5, 2015. Day of event registration will be offered if spots are available. Entry fee is $25 and each registration will receive a spot in Georgia’s first-ever Ford Mustang Pony Drive, cruise-in at Chestatee Ford after lunch, a limited edition Mustang 50th t-shirt and limited edition 50 Years of the Mustang poster (while supplies last). Once you arrive in Dahlonega, you are free to have lunch at your own expense. Many of the restaurants have agreed to offer a discount to all participants. Your donation is tax deductible and benefits Annandale Village, a nonprofit residential community for adults with developmental disabilities and traumatic brain injuries. Visit www.run4thegold.com to register today. Once you register, you will receive an email with specific route and day of event information.
